Krungthep to Isan: The Stillness and the Swarm
This project captures the mesmerizing push and pull of Thailand’s dual identities. Shot entirely on a Sony Alpha 7 II, the collection moves dynamically between the neon-soaked, high-speed sensory overload of Bangkok’s alleyways and the quiet, sun-baked landscapes and deeply rooted traditions of rural provinces like Isan. It is a visual study of a country masterfully balancing rapid modernization with a timeless, serene spiritual heritage. Through these images, the juxtaposition of the urban swarm and the sacred horizon reveals a country that moves at two speeds but breathes as one.
